Charles L. Hamby Building and Remodeling, Inc. was founded in 1978 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. After several years of remodeling homes and buying cabinets, Hamby’s Kitchen Center was founded in 1983 as a subsidiary of Hamby Building and Remodeling, Inc.

In 1989, we relocated to Orange Beach, Alabama as the local distributor for Jim Bishop Cabinets in the Florida Panhandle area. Hamby’s Kitchen Center has been building quality kitchens and home cabinetry along the Gulf Coast for over 30 years. Hamby’s Kitchen Center serves Northwest Florida and South Alabama.
